A beer of the month club entry for Dec2010/Jan2011. A nice reasonable find. Flavor is a pleasant combination of malty and hoppy goodness. Pours with a amber heading towards some orange highlights. Nice full body that makes this a find addition to your meal or just something to help out with the attack of the thirstyies.

Poured from a bottle to an amber colr with a foamy white head. The aroma was kind of sour and I was expecting sour beer but the taste was odd to me for a pale ale, more of a amber ale to me than a pale. Just don't expect a traditional pale ale.

very clear orange-red (guess that would be amber) color. didn'tget much of a head. average looks, average smell. mouthfeel has a definite full body to it, even a bit sticky. malt sweetness/ flavor is present, in fact i think it slightly dominates the hoppy/ citrusy bitterness. hops take over at the finish. still has sticky malt sweetness at the end. carbonation is above average. average beer, not a traditional APA, but pretty good .

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a thick white head. Strong lacing. Sweet caramel aroma with a slight hint of pine. Creamy flavor to this, which I find sort of strong. Bitter, citrus finish. Not bad, but a different tasting APA.
