Raspberry is the newest member of the Woodchuck Draft Cider family, hitting retail shelves and bars in early April 2002. This unique product is aged in small batches the same way our award winning Amber cider is made with a SPLASH of Raspberries mixed in. This handcrafted process creates a extremely smooth product with a hint of Raspberry flavor.

poured a clear pale goldish color with not much of any head and no lacing. The aroma was of sweet raspberries and nothing else. The taste was raspberries and was very sweet but not overly so. The mouthfeel was light and refreshing, an excellent cider.

These are ok to try every now and then, but I am not really a cider person. I prefer the thicker, muddier kind.....or hot cider with whiskey. This reminds me more of a wine cooler. Appearance on this one is almost the color of water with a shade darker w/ tint of green. Smells of apple. I enjoy the mouthfeel and bubbly part, but besides that not doing much for me.

A clear golden color, typical of a hard cider. Aroma is crisp and strong with a decided raspberry overtone. Flavor is smooth and lively, mainly pear with a ribbon of raspberry. Finish is crisp and satisfying.

Really good stuff. Some beersites don't consider this a cider but it is very good, I love that raspberry tingle in there. Finish comes to fast, leaves me wanting more. This probably should not be rated along side of beers, it is pretty sweet and bitterless.

Decent cider here but much better on draft if you can find it. The aroma is very aromatic and sweet with tons of raspberry coming through. The appearance is an extremely, pale yellow to almost clear with a stringy head on top that is white in color and dissipates. The mouthfeel is airy and very light-bodied with sweet complexity. The flavor is sweet and of raspberry and perfume and very tasty given the sweetness of it. Overall, probably one of the best ciders of its kind around and it is good but I only can stomach one or two."

cool beans, first to review this cider....see i kinda like ciders, they are refreshing NO MATTER WHAT , and are usually sweet and delicous, or dry and crisp, this fell into the sweet and delicous category. Good head, has sweet raspberry cough syrup smell, nice refreshing lip smacking first sip..delicous after you start getting going?...the raspberyy is nice and subtle but present enough to get the jist of it!.. ..a rather sweet "berry" sweetness to it, thats the only downfall i could see someone pull from it, i liked though, but probably not again for a while.
