Mildly hazed, amber-orange colour with golden highlights. The head is off-white, frothy-bubbly with good retention and nice foamy-soapy lacing clouds. Very nice, interesting aromas with lots of tea notes, blending with some grassiness and the caramel malt base that comes out with time. Hints of oranges and coffee even. The mouthfeel is wet at first, but does build some good dryness, even bitterness with time, and lingers. Some particles do show up in the brew near last pour. The taste shows again some really nice black tea notes, among others, with the milder caramel base and good grassy bitter hoppiness. A very interesting, hoppy-drying West Coast IPA with some teas added.
