Poured a deep rich and cloudy choco-brown color with a decent head and very nice lacing. The aroma was chocolate, coffee, light nuts. The flavor was chocolate, coffee, nuts, biscuits, and light bubblegum. Hopping was detectable for a brown style ale, but not overly so. Mouthfeel was significantly carbonated and along with the hop presence, helped break up the sweet malts. A nice take on the brown ale style.
