From a growler, poured a dark, dark brown, with red around the edges, and a healthy tan head. Aroma is sweet smoky chocolate, caramel, toffee, and some grassiness. Flavor starts with sweet chocolate, caramel, and eases into roasted coffee and bitter chocolate. An underlying dry, grassy spiciness is present but subdued in the finish. Very tasty stuff, insanely smooth and drinkable.
