Over the last nine years, excellence in brewing has been both our motivation and our inspiration. To celebrate our tireless journey towards the perfect brew, we proudly offer our Ninth Anniversary Barrel-Aged Belgian Dark Strong Ale. For this vintage, we decided to age in bourbon barrels that previously held our Café Royale Imperial Stout.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Bottle - 12.7 ounce corked and caged. Very dark brown pour with a tiny tan head. Aroma is rather sweet with boozy notes, candi sugar, caramel and dark fruit. Taste is candi sugar, dark fruit, caramel, toasted malt, soft vanilla and booze. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Light warmth to this as well. Some stickiness too. Ends with more candi sugar, caramel, cocoa, dark fruit, toasted malt and light vanilla.
