500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a nonic pint glass a clear and golden-amber coloured Scottish Lager with half a finger almost white foamy head that had a quite short retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. A mountain of floating sediments. Some lacing. The aroma is intense grassy hops, pale malts, bready, notes of caramel and honey. The flavour is moderate pale malts, light biscuity, grassy hops and fruity, citrus, strawberries. The mouthfeel is light syrupy, round and very smooth. The texture is oily. This light to medium bodied Scottish Lager has a light hoppy bitter finish. This Ceilidih, from the Williams Brothers brewery is an easy drinkable and refreshing Scottish Lager with an amazing smoothy palate.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, with mediumsized white head that turns into a thin white foamy thing. Aroma is floral hops, some bready malts as well as mild nutty and fruity notes as well. Flavour is bready malts, a bit fruity and floral as well as some mild grassy notes.

500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of flowers, some fruit and candy. The flavour is too sweet for a pale lager, notes of candy and malt sugar, hints of honey. Not "crisp" at all, and not very citrussy. A very moderate bitterness in the finish, where the sweetness is still present. Williams Brothers make many interesting beers, this is not one of them.
