Brewed with 6 different hop varieties and 3 different grains, including wheat, Upheaval will be a fitting tribute, not only to the bold Northwest-style IPA, but to Kurt and Rob Widmer’s unapologetic attitude in legacy of innovation.

Comes out of the growler a slightly hazy and appetizing amber with a thick pale cream-buff head. Strong, hoppy aroma is mainly woody with notes of sour orange and malt. Bold flavor comes on like Gangbusters, hoppy and greenwood with an undertone of sour citrus and a malty hint. Texture is a little on the thin side, but fairly fizzy. A true upheaval!

Golden pour, medium white head, ample lacing. Fresh citrus and light tropical fruits in the nose and flavors, some nice malt sweetness to offset. Very straightforward and drinkable. Nice bitter and linger.

Best hoppy Widmer beer I've had in a while. Nice body with some sticky tropical fruit on the nose and palate, and a hint of spice and bready malt....
