This traditional saison is brewed using North Carolina grown barley, wheat and rye from Riverbend Malthouse and is open fermented. The beer is then finished with Brettanomyces and bottled. Drink it fresh, or let it age and bring out the funk.

Bright golden color with a white head. Aroma contains musty clothes from the attic, old dusty boxes dated 1963 from the attic, horseblanket, a rotten lemon. Dust. A very dry lemon flavor going on. As I drink this I picture I found this on the titanic.

Pours a hazy, barely translucent golden with a nice eggshell head. Fruity aroma is rather sour but inviting. Flavor has notes of malt, sour fruit, and yeast. Texture is decently thick and a little fizzy. Sure, bring out da funk!
