Every spring when the weather starts to warm, brave and eager paddlers head out to break ice on the river. This light-bodied beer is very dry with a strong hop aroma and flavour with notes of pine, citrus and floral. This Brut IPA is just as mighty as the Ottawa River.

Can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy white head, thick sticky lacing, has a hazy golden orangey appearance with visible sediment. Slightly excessive carbonation. Aromas of floral and herbal hops, grassy, a bit wheaty. Flavours are mostly citrusy, grassy, some pine and yeasty notes. Has a bit of a dry finish

Pours a lightly hazed golden colour with a nice frothy, slightly creamy white head with decent stay and liney-spotty lace. Grassy hop aromas over orange juices and sweet yeast. The taste is also very grassy, leafy, creating some big bitterness. Almost extreme dryness. Again, citrus notes in the background. Mostly peel, zest. Yeah, says very dry on can. It is. 46 IBU. OK.
