The Story... Joey is our brewery lab. You might have seen him out earning his beer on bike rides, or just lazing outside. The Beer... Just like Joey, this beer is friendly, warm and gentle - perfect for a beautiful fall day. Maris Otter, oats, wheat and roast barley fill the grain bill. The oats help deliver a soft and creamy mouth feel, with the bold rich flavour of roast barley that you want from an oatmeal stout. Breakfast beer anyone?

Dark brown colour with copper-ruby highlights, a big frothy light-beige head, good stay and some foamy traces left. Roasted malt base with some coffee notes, some mild fruitiness, molasses. The mouthfeel is smooth, lightly oily on the thinner side. Light plum over roasted barley with a touch of coffee grinds flavours. A decent smooth stout that has some coffee tartiness.
