Picked up a couple tall cans at the brewery, very limited run. Pours a fairly big frothy beige head that dissipates to a small foamy coating and leaves some thick dirty lacing behind. Has a cloudy coppery amber appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of earthy and herbal hops, some mild wheaty and yeasty notes, hints of nutmeg. Flavours are mostly earthy and resinous hops, a bit piney and and some yeast. Some bitterness on the palate and a little bit dry. Pretty good stuff.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for this one for my birthday, from the brewery. Pours a slight hazy golden-amber colour with a beige frothy cap, decent retention and lacing. Grassy leafy green hop nose over sweet caramel malts with hints of berries. The flavours are the same, but nicer as the dryness cuts the sweetness of the malt. Goes down better, with the bitterness in the middle, but the finish being dry. Awesome to try, but not one I would do again. Nice homage to Metallica's debut album.
