I’ve spent a lot of time in California for work. Traveled a bit of it - but want to see so much more. This beer is all about the west coast IPA’s I’ve tried, and the ones I'll get to try on that long road trip we want to take someday... A classic West Coast IPA, loaded with Cascade and Centennial hops focusing on aromatic citrus and pine notes. Simple malt base of 2 row and caramel malts with demerara sugar to dry it out, kick it up a notch and accentuate the hop bitterness. - Ian (owner)

Almost clean amber colour with golden highlights. The head is bubbly, smallish, average retention and some foamy ring on the brew. Some diacetyl comes into the nose at first. After breathing a bit, some of the hops come out, showing some grassiness. The hops do continue with the grassy notes into the taste, over the caramel malts. Not a hopbomb, but a decent, crisp, well-balanced dry West Coast IPA.
