On draught at the Kölner Festival der Bierkulturen. Poured a dark brown, near dark, colored beer with a one finger beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Soft carbonation. Superb lacing. The aroma is sourish fruits, caramel and bready malts and the presence of smoke. The flavour is heavy roasted malts, dark chocolate, toffee, sourish fruits, at the end of the sip emerge an aromatized hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is a mix between a fizzy sensation and sweety roasty malts. This medium bodied beer has a lingering sourish and smoked finish. A surprising beer mixing sweetness, sourness and bitterness added to a smoked effect. Complex but very nice.
