Caramel, crystal, munich and chocolate malts form a rich foundation for this dark and complex ale. Brewed with an absurd amount of honey from Pennsylvania bees, this braggot has a profound honey character and a nice warming finish. It is the perfect beer to celebrate our sweet sixteen.

My 1st Braggot that I can recall and it's an interesting treat to be sure. Pours a Medium amber brown with a thick tan head that diminishes over time leaving spots of lacing everywhere. The aroma is a quick hit of clover honey and toasty crystal malt. Big beer and full bodied, sweet and malty...well balanced and impressive. Flavor is lots of honey up front followed by crystal malt, light toast and hints of chocolate and coffee. No hop presence whatsoever. Really nice.
