This was a great beer, almost like chocolate milk and alcohol. Everything about this beer says chocolate. It looks like chocolate milk in a glass, the strongest component of the aroma is milk chocolate and the most dominant flavour on the tongue is milk chocolate. Wellington did well with this beer.

Swing top bottle with a cap and packaged on 03/26/13 and to be enjoyed before 11/26/14. Pours an almost black colour with a deep mocha head that stays a long time and gives out dirty foam lacing. Sweet aromas of cacao, roasted malts and light vanilla. The roasted malts is quite present in the taste with mild sweetness from the cacao, but not so milky. More like an Imperial Oatmeal Stout than a chocolate milk one. Still good, but not quite the style.

Bottle. Colour - brownish black, brown head. Aroma - chocolate nibs, licorice, cocoa, coffee. Mouthfeel - full bodied. Flavour - chocolate milk, coffee. Overall - A very good beer, captures the chocolate milk essence quite well. Would be nice if it came in a single serving size instead of 750ml

The beer pours a dark brown with a generous light brown head which quickly dissipates. The aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, and hits of licorice. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour definitely has chocolate milk characteristics, although it is dark chocolate. I liked this beer, but not as much as their Morning Brew Coffee Cream Stout. -

Pours a thick creamy layer of brownish head and has a dark brown appearance. Dirty lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavours are also chocolatey, but also with strong notes of coffee, dark roast malts, sweet malts. Fairly smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Slick and slightly oily sensation. Pretty lively carbonation. Not bad.

On tap at Imbibe: Pours a deep black with a small tight tan cap. Moderate carbonation. Sweet lactose nose with some coca and roasty tones. Flavor is rather flat for such a good smelling Milk stout - roasty sweet in the front with little complexity, weak hopping even for the style. Long uneventful finish and a sweet aftertaste. I love milk stouts but this one is not my cup of tea.
