The first thing I notice about this beer is it's colour. Far and away the darkest IPA I've tried to date. Dark amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is pine and citrus with a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is well balanced between sweet caramel malt, and citrusy hops, not quite grapefruit citrus.

On tap: A deep amber- gold ale with a 2 finger white cap - aroma of crystal and cara malts and grassy wood y hops. Medium bodied. Nice blend of malt in the fornt balanced well with pinry bitter hops, rather two dimensional, clean bitter finish wih a lingering metallic bitterness. A servicable pub IPA nothing fancy but drinkable.
