The beer pours a solid lemon gold colour with orange highlights and a white creamy, rocky head that lasts a few minutes. Nice lacing down the glass. The aroma is light grass, citrus, some weak peppery spice, yeast, and earthy hops. The hoppy earthiness grows as the beer warms. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is multidimensional….the first thing you get is the grassy malts and the fruity citrus, and then you’re hit with the habanero pepper, and from that point on, all you can taste (and feel) is the pepper aspect of this beer. -

Mildly hazy golden colour with an amber hue. The warm cap is frothy, has decent stay with lots of foamy-sticky lacing. Fresh hop aromas with nice grassiness and hints of cilantro. The malt balances things in the back. Alcohol seems present in the nose as well. The habanero peppers kick in the finish, lingering nice spicy hit that warms up. The mango and pineapple notes are very, very mild or overpowered by the spiciness. A little more felt in the nose. Gets cloudier as it pours, with lots of things floating around. Interesting, and probably much better during winter (and not a warm summer night like tonight).

Part of mix 4pack. Pours a fairly big and thick frothy off-white head and has a hazy orangey appearance with slightly excessive carbonation. Some thick dirty lacing. Aromas of tropical fruits, yeast and a bit cereal maly, oats. Flavours are fruity the pineapple and mango at the forefront, but the habanero peppers follow that up straight giving it quite a bit of a spicy finish. Also as a result, leaves a very nice warming mouthfeel, not too much heat, but warms on the way down for sure. After awhile, some orangey and yeasty notes are noticeable. Dry finish on the palate.
