We took this iconic beer style and put a bold spin on it. Our Brown Ale is loaded with chocolate and caramel malts, giving Bernadette a dark amber hue, intense roasted malt aromas, with flavours of dark chocolate and toffee. Toasty bitterness us rounded out with a mild fruitiness that finishes dry.

Can part of the Nita Midnight Grist craft beer mix 6-pack. Oh wow, very nice aromas with lots going on here. You can get the chocolate malts and caramel base, but also some candy notes and mild grassiness from the hops. The chocolate malt that gave cocoa powder in the nose, is now more chocolaty and with the candy, kind of like red liquorice - reminds me of Big Turk. The candy bar that most have not had before - yes. Dark brown colour, copperish with a big frothy light mocha-coloured head that lasts quite a while. Thick foamy lacing is left. So, a brown ale that gives out more notes of choco and cherries. Goes down nicely with the hops giving some nice dryness in the finish.
