We love beer. Joining the two seemed natural, and like other natural things to do, it spawned something beautiful. You'll love getting to know this member of the Wasatch family!

Picked this up from the same store that I grabbed a bunch of rather obscure/obsolete/long-forgotten beer singles, so this beer may or may not be even still in production. But regardless of whether this is around year-round, seasonally, or only in the back of scrungy-looking liquor store shelves, this is what I would term to be a "Standard Fruit Beer", through and through.
Nothing about this beer surprises me. Like so many other wheat-plus-{fill-in-the-blank}-fruit beers I've had before, this has the standard hefeweizen juiced up with fruit concentrate..., probably in either the Secondary or Bright Tank. Insignificant fruit aroma, no fruit-like coloration, and only the impression of fruit in the flavor profile. It all comes together coming across rather haphazardly, as if the fruit addition was litle more than an after-thought to get rid of an excess batch of Hefeweizen.
Not horrible by any stretch of the imagination, but this beer does nothing that 100's of other brewers (both homebrew and commercial) have done before, often better. If you want real fruit in your beer, get a Lambic....

Tasted on tap in Park City. Lt red color, A medium bodied wheat ale, mild slightly sweet raspberry flavor. Fruit flavor is subtle. Mild malts and hops. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, with a slightly raspberry flavor.
