Purchased on my trip to Vegas at the Total Wine store. Second of two pumpkin ales tonight (the other being the Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat). Pours a deep amber colour with a beige head that stays a bit more than the ST and lacing is much better. Tiny particles float around and a little haziness installs itself at the last pour. Pumpkin nose with hints of spices (nutmeg) and soap. The taste is a bit more on the cloves side of things, with hints of pumpkin and a bread finish. Still, everything is pretty mild as this is a light beer at 4% ABV. Not sure if I prefer it to the Shock Top version.

Aroma - lots of nutmeg and cloves in the aroma, reminds me of a dry pumpkin bread.
Appearance - Light amber body, clear a creamy light tan 1" head
Taste - medium sweetness with quite a bit of clove and nutmeg. A bit more sweetness and some roasty character might have made this a really beautfiul beer.
Palate - light-medium bodied, smooth with a crisp finish.
Overall - a really nice pumpkin beer. 1-2 in a row is enough though. -

standard thin panzy beer with lots of spices to cover up the fact that it's not a very good beer underneath. Worth trying once, not twice. Still looking for the best pumpkin ale.

This one of the best pumpkin beers I have had. I will let you know that pumpkin beers are one of my favorite styles. The flavor was solid. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Had a great clean and pumpkin finish that I think I have had in only one other beer like this. This years batch "2008" was amamzing.... This was off the draft at the brewery.

This spiced ale pours a slightly hazy copper gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is spicy, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg with a touch of malt. A medium bodied pumpkin ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are earthy and floral. It a touch sweet and a little nutty. It has a lot of pumpkin pie flavor going on here. Not too sweet or to spicy. It’s a touch watery, but given the low alcohol it might be understandable. Nice pumpkin finish. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
