A hazy golden yellow german style wheat - a hefeweizen only slightly out of style. The fermentation profile favours the ester production over phenols providing that signature "Banana" balanced by an unusual hop addition. A nice refreshing wheat beer with character, perfect for sunny days! A Hefeweizen is a beer entirely defined by the flavor profile produced by the yeast during fermentation and we control the parameters to tilt the fermentation profile to where we want it - banana town. There is a bit of a story behind this beer, when my wife agreed to the brewery project, she jokingly said "you better brew my hefeweizen"... here it is honey!
