When Harry Low’s vast bootlegging operation was discovered by the United States, they seized one of his prized cargo ships; the Geronimo. As ‘luck’ would have it, a storm set the vessel free and the Geronimo drifted back to Canada. This is no ordinary IPA. Our coarsely filtered India Pale Ale is loaded wit grapefruit, orange peel and piney aromas from several kilos of different American hops. The pronounced bitterness hits the palate first and is delicately balanced with international specialty malts. MALTS: 2-Row, Munich, Crystal Malts HOPS: Centennial, Cascade, Summit

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big frothy beige head with some thick dirty lace sticking around and has an amber/coppery appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of pine, citrus, some earthy notes, a little bread malt. Flavours of pine again, some citrus and hints of grapefruit, a little of yeast in the finish. Dry finish. Not bad.

Pours a slight hazed amber colour with a light beige head, good stay and some dirty lacing. The aromas are off, kind of weird. Earthy, wet wood with green, green plants in the background. The taste is not as bad, but just bitter and not much else. Ashes, caramel maybe. Some good bitterness in the finish. Still, nothing to save this one. Not sure what is going on here, and what hops are used. Not crazy bad, but not a fan.
