The return of the chalice beers! DeVille is a high octane Belgian-inspired abbey ale with an engagingly bold spicy/fruity character, a warm alcohol glow and a relatively dry finish. "The Cadillac of abbey ales".

Big big beer. Hold onto your horses. This one will take you to the next level. Careful with that glass son! Pours a clouded copper. Almost brown. Aroma is fruity, slightly alcohol, spicey and consistent with it's belgian friends. Taste is delightful. In your face, but pure and generous of fruit and spices.

The heavy beer goblet in which this was served detracts from its purported elegance. The pour is a murky, muddy rust color with an ephemeral head. Light fruit aroma and belgian amalgam of yeast, mottled dark fruit, cloves, alcohol, and brown sugar. Sweet! MUSIC: “Running on Faith” – Eric Clapton
