I went across the border about a year ago. Walked around the streets for a while and then found a perfect place to drink a beer. Told the fellow to give a Victoria beer. BEST BEER I'd had in a long, long, time!

Clear light amber, white lacing foam head. Light caramel aroma, light bitterness and again caramel notes. Not a bad beer, thanks Ralf for sharing. (Houston 201705)

Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. The aroma is of malt, caramel, and fruit aromas. The taste is much the same with toast, caramel, and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel.

Aroma is crisp, malty and a bit fruity - nothing special, but at least palatable. It pours a nice dark amber with a fairly thick, though not persistent, eggshell head. Flavor is malty and crisp, a little fruity, again nothing special but better than what I expected. Texture has a good amount of fizz, if average body. Overall, a decent beer.

Sampled from bottle. Aroma is clean with a bit of sourness,. Flavor is well-balanced and clean with toasted malts. Light-bodied with medium to high carbonation.

Golden yellow pour with a thin white head. Minimal amount of carbonation. Little lace on the glass. One of the better Mexican beers although that's not really saying much.

I had this beer at Alejandro's in Roanoke, VA. Here's the thing, for whatever reason, I find most, if not all, Mexican beers to be pretty bad. I just find them to taste bad. In any event, it was just meh. Better than Corona, Modello, Dos Equis, etc., but that isn't saying much. The beer had a less harsh finsih, was a bit fuller. That's all folks.

A bright amber colored beer with a small, two fingered, sudsy textured, beige-white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A moderate ringlet and persistent cap are left. Light earthy nose. Light grassy hoppiness in the tasting. Light bodied.

Bottle @ Hacienda Degollado Mexican Restaurant in Oak Ridge. Dark clear amber pour, medium head, nice lacing. Light caramel and roasted malt aroma, slight hops. Taste is a bit weak for a Vienna, light caramel malts, a touch of grassiness, light hops. Passable but Dos Equis Amber on draft is the way to go for a Mexican Vienna-style.

Not as repugnant as many other Mexican beers, Wow that sure sounds like a slogan to me. It's on the watery side, slight hints of caramel malts and corn in the taste. Average at best is what it is.
