A light blonde colour, with a light taste and slight hoppy aftertaste. A good head when poured, and it tends to last a while.

This is an excellent beer, well worth the money... I just discovered it a few weeks ago, and am sad to say it has been de-listed from the government liquor stores (thats BC for you!)

Squat little green glass 33cl bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin bright white head. The aroma offers up sweet malts as well as mild bitter spicy to grassy to floral hoppiness. The taste is pretty nice with hops but well off in the background is a mild metallic note that gets in the way. Aside from that it is a pretty nice Pilsener where sweet sugary malts are kept in check with a modest degree of spicy to grassy to floral hop bitterness and faint floral hop flavor.

Pours cloudy pale yellow with nice white head that hangs around for a while. The aroma is fruity & malty. The taste follows the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium bodied & lightly carbonated.

Clearing, very light yellow with lastig white foam head. Little lacing to glass Typical German pilsener, little aroma, little taste. Good drinking though.(Velp 201206)

Pours a nice clear amber with a decent white head - typical, but still appealing. Well, it is a pilsner. Strong aroma has a malty core and a robust fruity overtone, pear and apple with a touch of banana. Flavor is crisp and malty with a bitter hoppy undertone and a bit of fruity sweetness. Body is a bit thicker than I expect with this sort of beer, and is quite fizzy. I’m not a pilsner fan, preferring dark beers such as stouts, but I will give any good beer a try regardless of variety.

Not much to write about with this beer. A typical German pilsener that pours a clear golden colour with a huge white head. Tons of effervescence. Aroma is malt, grass, and some weak floral hops. Flavour is malty, and bland.

This is a pretty lame beer. Another offering of great unimportance. Poured out a so-so white cap leaving some messy lacing. Yellow gold brew that is in need of some filtering. Aroma is not that bad - grass, slight stink, hops and wheat. A bit sweet but more on the wheaty side. The taste is nothing different that the large quantity of generic Euro Pils - except I'm noting more malts than usual. A touch of sweetness. Nothing here to set this apart from the others, but nothing bad either. Nice carbonated swish with an appealing aftertaste....turned out to be pretty enjoyable after all!

I gotta say, I'm surprised at some of the low grades posted for this pilsner. Maybe it ages particularly well, but I just reached into the back of the fridge and pulled out my last bottle from a case I bought in mid-summer 2005, and it was as good as I remember it being when new! Pours a nice golden hue, not quite crystal clear, with a thin but persistent head that laced just a tiny bit. I thought the nose was excellent... a nice aroma scented exactly as it should be... nothing off there. Taste was crisp and refreshing, and although I nursed it for 25 minutes while watching a TV show, it finished as well as it began. I LIKE this Pilsner, and I'd definitely get it again. My only complaint is that it's only 11.20 fl oz... I missed that last half swaller!

Purchased at the SAQ in front of the casino in Hull, Quebec. Best before date on bottom of can reads: 21.06.07. Pours a pale golden colour with a creamy white head. Good retention on this one (for a pilsener) with small amount of lacing. Carbonation is very active with medium-big bubbles. Sweet malt nose with a light hoppy scent (but not the usual hop found in a pils). Light-bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. The taste is very mild, with some malt (not sweet though), some grain, and some very light bitterness in the finish. Not sure if the recipe was changed, as reviews were really good before, and recent reviews have gone real down. Nothing impressive here.
