Vejle Brewery 'Classic is a great wienerøl, a bottom-fermented golden beer originating in Vienna. At home we know, however, this type better known as "classic". It is brewed with half the Vienna Malt and half Münchenermalt and a good dose of caramel malt gives the beer a soft, dense malt character with a slightly sweet and caramel-like flavor. As bitter hops, we have chosen the German hop black pearl, which gives a gentle bitterness balanced with sweetness and aroma hops, we used the noble German variety Hallertau Hersbruck. For food suited it well for savory dishes made with pork, game, lamb and pasta dishes. The beer is after fermentation and may therefore appear easy obscurity from yeast.
