Much like Vancouver Island's aerial firefighters, this twist on a traditional IPA will extinguish your thirst. This bomber packs a full payload of hop power delivered on target with the smoothness of wheat malt. With a complex hop flavour balanced in flight with notes of fruit and spice, this beer isn't just for emergencies.

From BCLDB Nordel Crossing, in a bomber. Wow! Poured like a hefe - massive fluffy white head and an impressively cloudy light gold body. Said head left a ring as is departed. Aroma began as quite yeasty, might've shown some hops towards the end. Mouthfeel above average. Flavour to begin with was most unlike an IPA, fruit and yeast in the main. Later, it did show some hop bitterness and could that have been pine resin? Probably not. Black IPA, now white IPA, what's next? Judging from this one, I don't think the white IPA concept needs to be explored any further. Not a bad beer, just not sure what it is supposed to be.
