Canadian liquor stores love to bring in Eastern European lagers for whatever reason. This is one of them. A typical pale gold lager with a short-lived head. Corn and skunk in the aroma, and an overly sweet malt flavour.

"Pick-A-Six" #2. Beer #6. Utenos. All and all a very pleasant beer. Nice aroma. Good texture and goes down very smooth. Taste is different and hard to describe but is nice. Will have again.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, large head. Moderate sweetish aroma with notes of pale lager wort, hints of maize (corn) too, some fruity aromatic hops. Moderate carbonation in the glass, soft mouthfeel. The flavour has some malty sweetness and tolerable hops in the finish. Not too bad for a standard pale lager, but I preferred their Pilsener.

Yellow colour, small white head. Metallic aroma with hints of skunked hops. Exactly same in flavour. Total crap our most loved Alko has imported yet again.

A good little lager here from Lithuania. Unfiltered glory here, grassy and bready with a nice hop kick on the swallow that lingers into sourness. Better than the average eurolager.

Very light gold color. Large head. Aroma is malty and grainy. A medium bodied lager. Malts are fairly mild. Hops are mild and very slightly citrusy. Fairly typical Euro-lager. Not a lot of flavor or taste. Its also has a slight vegetable, grain, corn taste to it as well. Not unpleasant, but it should not be there at all. No skunkyness, so that’s a plus. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Typical light gold color. Not much head, but it stays around. A little sweet with oney. Aroma has nothing to offer. This is like every other decently made lager. Not skunky, but nothing special either.

Just superb!!! For me - the best beer in the world. When I'm staying in Lithuania I drink it mostly everyday. It is a good lager, with perfect harmony of color, aroma and flavor. I think it has all essential features for good lager. Probably it could be critisized because of the lack of originality, but for me it is too good to critisize. One more thing - it is impossible to understand the value of this beer after trying it only once.

Very pale in color with a white head. Nice beer. Very neutral aroma. Malty flavor with a little touch of hops. Clean tasting and drinkable.

Sampled from bottle. pours a murky, tarnished gold with a sparse white head and nice lacing. Aroma is grainy and sour. Flavor is balanced with grassy, citrus hops. Sour malt flavor lingers. Light-bodied and lightly carbonated. Not so good.
