THis beer pours a clear golden yellow with a frothy white head. The aroma is typical grainy malt with a hint of hops. Not much else in the aroma. The flavour is grainy malt up front, and some hoppy bitterness. Better tasting than a lot of light lagers, but still nothing great.

This is an attempt (and a good one) by a Canuk micro brewer to offer a maco brewer styled light lager but deliver the taste they leave out....to be more blunt what I belive they attempted to do was improve on Labatt's blue light (which they did) and steal Labatt's blue regular drinkers....which they could. This is probably the nicest light beer I have ever tasted but it is so much like Labatt's Blue I gotta ask why bother when full strength 5% blue is so prevailant? Comes in UCB's nondistinct labeled brown bottle (no detectable freshness date). Pours a darker yellow than most mega-brew light beers. Has some slight detectable whiffs of malt and hop (unlike most mega brewed lights) and has a small fast to disappear head. Starts like a light pilsner then goes to a watery palate and non spectacular finish. This is in the same taste range as Labatt's Blue but with less ABV. A good rendition of a light pilsner lager beer but too weak in real beer character for my taste.

Light yellow in color. Lasting head. Very well made. Very light in color. No hops. Ok.

Not bad for a light beer. Golden colored, but much more head on this than other light beers I've had. Nice foamy lacing... ever see that on a Miller Light? A sweet malty flavor with a touch of citrus. Nothing too complex but nothing foul about it either and decent flavor for the style. If you're into light beers, sub this for some others you might have from time to time and you'll probably not want to switch back.

Poured a pale golden-yellow that was slightly cloudy. It also had small sediment floating around the brew. The white foamy head was pretty good for a light lager. The lacing was also good. The nose was composed of sweet malts and traces of hops. The taste was light, but had a bitter middle with a mild lemon finish that was smooth. Overall, quite descent for a light beer.

Move over Bud and Miller lite. You can make a light beer that really tastes like beer! At only 4% alcohol, this light lager has good color, a head that stuck around for the whole glass, real aroma, and (golly!) taste! If they only sold this light beer in the States,it would be a nice addition to my favorite beer list. The only light on my list so far....

Lots of flavour for a light beer.
