The Gelande Amber Lager utilizes the finest specialty malts, noble hops and cold fermenting yeast to produce a malty beer that finishes dry on the palate. Derived from the Germanic word "Gelandesprung" meaning "terrain-jump", this sport was established in the United States by Utah ski pioneers. It varies a little from today's Nordic jumping in that the skier's heels are fixed and the body goes into a pike position.

a like the noble hops in here, but aside from that, there is nothing to distinguish this beer. it's just about avergage in every aspect, and a little thin.

Medium amber color, small head. Aroma is malty and appley fruity. A medium bodied Vienna. Malts are mild yet flavorful. Hops are also mild. Mild tasting beer, yet it does have some flavor to it. I do wonder how you can get ANY flavor out of a beer that’s limited to 4% alcohol. Nothing really good or bad to say about this beer. Drinkable but nothing special. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is malty.
