Bottle brought home by pfoxyjohn, interesting to read the other reviews. This was the worst smell I have ever experienced out of a bottle, barnyard seems nice, this was more like sweaty gym socks and flatulence. After I drank it, I belched, and there was so much sulfer in it I could have swore I ate rotten eggs. Strangely the flavor of he beer does not have thses aspects and is really quite clean and normal I thought. Very strange experience.

330 ml swing-top bottle bought at the brewpub. Poured in the original Oldgott dimpled pint a cloudy red copper or ruby-brown coloured Pivo with a pillowy three fingers beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of mivro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is yeast, grainy malts, aciditic fruits, grapefruits, intense grassy and citrussy hops, some barnyard. The flavour is sourish and caramel malts, yeast, flowery, violet, fruity, lemon and grapefruits. The mouthfeel is creamy and very smooth. This medium bodied Pivo has a lingering sourish bitter finish. A very refreshing and tasting Pivo, in the gueuze way, entirely different from the bottle ( sourness ) as from tap.

Bottled. Amber colour, small longlasting beige head. Aroma is honey, wood (oak and pine) as well as some nice sweet malty notes. Flavour is strong semi-sour wood as well as some toffee and dry bitterness. A well-balanced lovely brew.
