Three Beaches Honey Blonde is our Wisconsin version of the American Blonde Ale. This beer is light-bodied with a sweet touch of honey and a mild citrus accent. Nothing beats a day at the beach... the sun, the sand and, of course, the scenery. Here in Lake Mills, the three beaches of Rock Lake have drawn young and old for generations... to laugh, to play, to frolic, to just escape stresses of life for a time. Three Beaches Honey Blonde is like a day at the beach... light, bleached blonde, gleefully effervescent, free from bitterness and sure to improve your attitude. When you need a little attitude adjustment, spend a day at the beach with Three Beaches Honey Blonde... and you won't even have to wash the sand out of your suit!

Pours a clear light amber with a 2 finger off white head that takes its time. Decent carbonation. Aroma is malty and sweet. taste is quite malty with a hint of lemon and honey. Backing is a tad on the metallic side but doesn't distract. Finishes off dry. OK beer at best.

Music: Cyriack Parasol by Quinoline Yellow. Pours a golden hay color with lots of carbonation that is very refreshing. Smells of yeast and light wheaty malt. The malts are more complex in the flavor, reminding me of German spätzle, with hints of bitterness in the finish. Not very special though, but perhaps I'm biased against the style.

Thanks to BeerHunter for this one. Pours a clear yellow with a moderate white head. Had a kind of odd yeasty aroma with a bit of honey. The honey was also quite noticeable in the taste. Overall it was a bit weak for my tastes but not bad though.

This blond courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a clear light amber-golden yellow with a tight white head and some lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of wheat, malts, and hops with a very slight honey scent. Taste is slightly sweet and smooth with a malty base and slight hops.

This blonde ale pours a light gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, that quickly dissipates with some decent lacing. Aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of clover honey. A light to medium bodied blonde ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, hints or orange. The hops are slightly floral and fairly mild. Nice balance. Decent body for a blonde ale. Hints of honey and oranges at the finish. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours gold and barely cloudy with small, lasting head. The aroma is peppery and green. The base flavor was grainy while the finish was citric and catty, really a strong flavor overall by style (blondes aren't my favorite). Light bodied and well carbonated. Thanks to the WI beerpals who made this sample possible. :)

Sampled from bottle, a gift from Phishpond. This ale pours pure gold with a collared white head. Its aroma is grassy and floral with honey notes. Balanced and quite dry. Grainy malt flavor with no hop character. Medium-light body. A well-made blonde ale. A small dose of EKG hops in the finish would be a nice touch.

This one was great. It poured a nice golden color with a good head. There was a noticeable honey taste with a firm malt backbone and a slight wheat taste on the finish.

This poured a nice golden colour with a medium sized white head, it definately had a nice touch of honey, and a twist of lemon zest. it finished with a soft wheat taste.
