This interesting offering brought by fishingnet. Thanks Ben. Pours clear amber with thin tan head. The aroma starts with caramel sweetness, pomegranate, boysenberries that have been run over on a dusty gravel road, cactus and onion. Hmm? The taste is smooth with caramel and then moving toward berry and pomegranate juice, vegetables, gravel road and soft pillowy salted and steamed cauliflower. It gets more and more caramelly sweet into the finish. Weird as well as intriguing stuff.

Great amber lager. Looks like spiced rum and pours thicker than I expected. Nice foam head. Smells a little musty. Medium mouthfeel. Taste is remarkably hoppy for a tropical lager. Finish is of slightly burnt grain and old hops. Overall, a pleasant surprise.
