A very special IPA for our grand opening, brewed at 189 Bay Street. Quantities limited. Aromas of peach, flavours of stone fruit and a solid butter finish. Hops from all over the world.

Can from the brewery. Pours an mildly unfiltered golden-amber colour with very tiny particles floating around. Whitish head giving some good lacing. Same as their La Cavalerie IPA, diacetyl butterscotch notes show in the aromas. Sometimes, you can smell the Simcoe hops lightly and that's a plus. The taste has slight bitterness, but not much. Hints of grassy hops and wax. A tad better than La Cavalerie. Sure it will get better as this is new.

Picked up a tallboy at the brewery. Pours a fairly large frothy off-white head but doesn't stay around very long. Has a clear golden appearance. Somewhat weak lacing. Aromas of tropical fruits, hints of peach. Flavours are grainy malts, herbal hops, some subtle tropical fruit notes, a little bit citrusy. Excessive carbonation. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Has a bit of a drying mouthfeel as well. A little bit bitter in the finish.
