A German Style brown ale brewed with dark, rich Belgian specialty malts and domestic whole hops. The alt will have a dark copper color and will have a slightly fruity, bittersweet flavor. It is a beer for the more adventurous, for people with an appreciation for a beer with a rich malt character and a balanced hop finish.

A dark brown appearance with a beige head. The aroma contains some nutmeg, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is a bit dry with some caramel, chocolate with a nutty presence. This seems more like a brown than any alt Ive had but it was pretty good anyway.

This alt pours a deep brown color from a 1oz bottle. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, a touch earthy and a little bit of orange. A medium bodied alt. Malts are caramel and slightly sweet. Hops are earthy, a touch sour and herbal. Nice balance. Smooth taste. It has a little too much of the herbal hops thing going on though. Its kind of muddies up the flavor a little. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Poured a slightly cloudy brown color with a medium off-white head. Slight lacing. Nice, sweet aroma of chocolate and malt. Good mouthfeel. Flavor is very malty with even more malt on the aftertaste. This is a pretty solid brown ale.

Sampled on tap. This is a new Brown Ale that's been introduced by Tuckerman brewing. I thought it was pretty good. Brown-copper color. Flavor is rich malts, semi-sweet, with a slightly bitter hop finish. Malts are strong up front and the rest of it seems rather weak. I'd get it again though.
