New Shepard is a Tart Saison dry-hopped with Hallertau Blanc hops. This beer was co-pitched with yeast that creates lactic acid during fermentation as well as our tradition French Saison strain. This creates a nice soft acidity along with some of the spice characteristics from the French Saison yeast. The dry-hop lends a white wine character on the nose and helps the beer finish very crisp.
