Clear dark amber, small off-white lacing foam head. Decent aroma, barley, honey and dark fruits. Wanming strong in taste, complex taste. Good. (Houston 201705)

This fine beverage smelled like a big glass of malt and cherry. There is a very slight red foam head. The overall taste is very smooth and very enjoyable. Just a little watery but still very fine to drink.

Pours clear amber-orange with a moderate white head that settles to a thin ring. Floral and sweet aroma - add light fruits to the flavor. Undetecable ABV that allows the aroma and flavor to deepen as the beer warms a bit. Nice surprise - been waiting on this one for a while.

pours a amber orange with great clarity with a little layer of foam and lots of bubbles coming up throughout the glass and leaves nice lacing. The aroma is of apples, belgian candy, bready yeast, tart cherries, honey, vanilla, spices, and some pears. The taste is all of the above blended together well. Tastes good and the alcohol is slightly noticeable. The mouthfeel is smooth, medium carbonation and medium bodied.

What an interesting beer this was. I see the BSA designation, but the belgian yeast was pretty subtle. The aroma was sweet cherry, honey and booze, and the flavor was equal parts cherry, honey, brown sugar and yeasty spice. Nice unique holiday offering. Trade via Ggrumet. Woulda been higher if the Giants won at home :)

I had this beer for New Years Eve 2010. This beer was a handout and while it was a decent beer, I would prefer St. Bernardus Christmas if I am going to have a Christmas Belgian Beer. This wasn't bad at all just pretty boozy - a tad hot.

I was at the Devil's Den in Philly yesterday and they had both a 2009 and 2010 keg of this beer available. I only tried the 2009, which was hopefully better. I was pleased with the beer. Nice dark red color, but not much head. Not a whole lot of Belgian yeast in this one, but still good. Didn't seem like 11%. Medium-full body. Dark fruit, fairly smooth. Not exceptional, but I'd drink it again.

Pours a bright, red colour that's semi cloudy and well carbonated. Quick rising head, bit quickly decreasing as well. Aroma is sweet, wheaty cherries and alcohol is noticeabel right away. Taste is really spritzy and sweet, and again some hotness from the 11%. fruity and semi sweet. Pretty good beer actually. Perfect balance of fruits and spices.

Pours a clear red with almost no head. Very faint aroma of fruit (can hardly detect any cherries). Taste is very sweet--faintly fruity, some honey and a hint of alcohol. Overall, pretty good but a little sweeter than I prefer; alcohol definitely noticeable after a few sips.
