We love brewing bold and intense beers, and coming off our recent gold medal for a Belgian inspired flanders we thought it was time to switch gears and go overboard with hops. Slap Your Mammy is a shocking Double IPA! Coming in at 10-10.5 % ABV this huge ale is brewed with 7 of the highest quality malts and 8 varieties of hops! On our 125 minute boil we pack in 125 IBU’s, making this one of the hoppiest beers ever brewed in the world. If that not enough hops, then just wait! Unlike any of our other beers, we dry hop this one twice to pack in as much aroma as possible! A truly shocking Double IPA for all you Hopophiles!

750 ml bottle, bottle number 198/12 (I think). Pours hazy copper orange with a monstrous rocky off-white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is big sugary tropical fruits with some dank hops and pine.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruits with a lot of piney dank bitterness. There's a bit of warming from the alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, an excellent DIPA. Slightly too sweet and alcoholic (and pricey at $17 a bottle).

From KnoxBeerCrew tasting. Bright golden amber pour, fluffy white head leaving some nice lacing throughout. Nice big grapefruit and light pine hops aroma, near dank, tons of malts to offset bitter. Taste is citrus, lightly sweet and sticky (in a good way), ample malts, long bitter linger. Big and hoppy.
