Our Maple Rauchbier is a tribute to the liquid gold created each spring in the Trapp Family Lodge Sugarhouse. A touch of Rauch malt is used to create the base layer of subtle smoke. A blend of Munich and Carafa malts gives this lager its deep hue and full body, balanced with noble hops. The maple rounds out this lager perfectly.

Enjoyed April 25th, 2023 at the brewery. Clean, ambler colour with golden highlights, and off-white, frothy-creamy head leaving creamy lacing. Fruity malt nose with light smokiness. Smoky taste with the light maple sweetness, balanced by the herbal-hop notes. The mouthfeel has a nice dry touch in the end. Quite a nicely blended, dryer Rauchbier, with that tad maple.
