The flavour of honey depends on the climate, flora and geology or "terroir" of the region. Throughout Ontario, the different terroirs result in uniquely flavoured honey which can be fermented into delightfully different braggot style Meads. In this, the third in our series of "Mead Terroirs", we have used wild flower honey and peaches from Niagara to fashion this very refreshing summer Mead. Enjoy it gently chilled. Cheers!

    Aroma of peach and honey, add apricot and you have the flavour. High residual sweetness. Very poor appearance. Not sure if this is how mead should taste but I did not enjoy.

    Did not start well as the corked popped while I was twisting the metal cage off and spilled everywhere. I am already not a fan of this brewery, but this one looks like it is not infected like most of their products. That is a good thing. Cloudy golden-amber with a fizzy head that disappears quickly. At the last pour, a creamy head appears and stays, stays and stays. Beautiful peach juice aromas with some yeast. Not as sweet and syrupy as expected. The peach is again well-balanced with the yeast. Probably their better mead so far. Quite surprised actually.

    Pours a bubbly head that doesn't stick around very long. Has a pale golden appearance. No lacing whatsoever. Aromas of honey, grains and fruit. Flavours are fairly sour, some notes of peaches, quite fruity. Somewhat of a tarty mouthfeel.
