Bloomer’s Cut IPA is a collaboration we did with Final Gravity for the opening on 11/6 of their new Auburn location. Bloomer’s Cut is an all base malt IPA at 7.5% ABV. Hopped generously with Amarillo, Cascade, Mosaic and Citra hops. The name refers to the combining of old and new like Final Gravity is doing with its Roseville and Auburn locations.

Buddy from Sacramento shipped some to FL for a beer trade. This is a West Coast IPA, but has some good tropical flavors in there. Pours a semi-clear light orange color. Light to medium malt for the style. Not too aggressive on the hops, but with the lighter malt, it stand out more. Nice balance. I enjoyed this one a lot.
