Brewed initially to be released as STREIF, our Brett-Fermented Wheat IPA, but fermented with an alternate yeast strain. While this new interpretation has elements in common with the original, it drinks as an entirely new beer, one full of New Zealand hop deliciousness. Massively hoppy and soft on the palate with balanced bitterness.

Thankfully, this one was an error from the brewery... and came out much better than I expected. No crazy sweet wheat, but nice hoppiness. Lightly hazy, golden-yellow colour with an off-white head, good retention and leaving lots of dirty lacing. Aromas of grassy hops and citrus notes. The hints of wheat seems in the base. The same for flavours with the hops coming out on top again. Good bitterness and dryness in the end. Some good fruitiness and grassiness in this one. A nice little error.
