750 capped bottle. Poured in the original Toccalmatto stemmed glass an unfiltered opaque copper-brown coloured "P.I.P.A." with a generous three fingers light beige and dense pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is yeasty and intense flowery and aromatic hops. The flavour is grainy malts, fruity, grapefruits, mango, passion fruits, a touch of spices, pepper and above all an intense herbal hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is slight crispy, creamy and very smooth. This medium to full bodied PIPA has a lingering fruity and bitter finish. A splendid and well-balanced PIPA from Emilia Romagna. Obviously a moreish PIPA !
