Pours opaque plum with a minimal head. Aroma yields tart and sweet blackberries plus fresh malt. Flavor offers tart blackberries with a bit of fresh malt. Texture furnishes decent body and peppy fizz. Drink more Tilquin.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, vintage 2017-2018, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. 260 grams of blackberries / bramble per liter of lambic have been used for this vintage. Slightly hazy peach to red colour, small off-white to pink head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, lemons and oak, also unripe blackberries. Very sour flavour, notes of lemons, brettanomyces, oak and unripe blackberries again. Tart and moderately astringent finish.
