Pours wtih a light golden body topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing left behind. It’s bitter and grassy from the hops with a slight woody note and a touch of amlty sweetness. Light bodied, smooth and dry.

Had a bottle of this at Ponce's, me and Karen's favorite Mexican food resturant in our neighborhood. And while I wouldn't say that this trumps my ussual cerveza of choice, I would say that it's still worth checking out for a change of pace, and to support a local regional brewery...
Pale gold in appearence, with a decent amount of foam, and some lacing too. Fairly nuetral in aroma -- par for the course for this style of beer, IMO.
But where this beer comes in to it's own is in the flavor profile, the smooth mouthfeel, and the overall easy drinkability. Yeah, this does come across as something of a simple Dos Equis clone, but with the malt profile decidedly more sturdy than average (no cheap "corny" feel to this, as far as I can tell), this has a bit more heart-n'-soul than the average cheap cerveza mexicana.
Easy to pound down, but with enough character to count, IMO. A pretty solid example of style that can be done well when a brewer puts his or her heart into it....
Not too bad....
