Pours with bubbles stuck to the sides of the glass. Simply no head here. Aroma is of a little grain and some nuts. Mouthfeel is superb for the style. Good and thick. Taste is of grain and nuts. What a great brown ale!

Bottle. Very dark brown coloured, with large but rapidly diminishing beige head. Aroma is malty, maybe some hops. Flavour is sweet, malty with some bitterness. There's something a bit disjointed about the flavours. Medium body, mouthfeel a bit watery at the end, moderately carbonated. OK.
