A fantastic Dark Wheat. Clean, roasty, round, and surprisingly dry. Incredibly drinkable.

Pours dark chocolate with a thick and lasting tan head. Aroma yields roast, wheat, earthy and coffee notes. Flavor delivers roasty, horehound, wheat, earthy and coffee notes - is this a dunkel, or a stout? Texture offers decent smooth body and peppy fizz. Stalk a glass.

Dark brown pour with a creamy head. Aroma of roasted malt and wheat and maybe a hint of cocoa. An unexpected (and unwelcome) smokiness dominates the taste, making this a disappointment.

A canned wheat beer from Nebraska....corn country! It comes bubbling out of the can a medium brown colour with a tan head. Roast, wheat and banana make nup the bulk of the aromas while the flavour is quite thin and is more sweet malt than anything else.

Very light in aroma and mouthfeel. Really easy to drink light but it also took a little away from the experience. Very good flavor, lots of chocolate, a little roasty molasses, not too sweet and not too malty. A good overall beer without being over the top.

Can - from pfoxyjohn - from Nebraska. Deep brown/ mahogany black pour with a medium to thin cream head and light lacing. Aromas of light cocoa, molasses, slightly roasted malts. Taste is a tad thin but quite enjoyable with a slight chocolate and molasses, nice easy dark wheat not too far off from a schwarzbier. Thanks John.

    12oz can -

Aroma - light metallic notes, couldn’t really pick up much more than that.

Appearance - cracking open he can, some light tan foam kinda erupts out of the opening. Pours into my glass a really beautiful dark brown, nearly black body with a 1" head. Head retention was nearly non-existent with no lacing.

Taste - nice subtle chocolate flavor, mixing well with the light wheat character.

Palate - light bodied, medium carbonation feel to it, quick finish

Overall - easy drinking beer here. Another huge thanks to pfoxyjohn for sending me this! Thanks once again!
