Merriment is a hallmark of the holiday season, seasoning our greetings and our gathering. Feest Noel is merriment in a glass- a spiced Christmas ale meant to evoke joy and mystery. This Belgian-style strong dark uses dark roasted malts, imported Belgian dark candy sugar, and spiced accents of cardamom, allspice and cloves.

Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Comes out of the tap an opaque coffee brown with a thin light tan head, but the thin head must be from how it was poured. Rich aroma fills the nose with caramel, molasses, even a whiff for horehound. Flavor echoes all the delights of the aroma and adds a hint of peppermint and a touch of licorice. Mouthfeel is thick and firm, almost syrupy, and quite fizzy. Fairly sweet, but not cloying, with a malty hint. Merry whatever you celebrate this time of year!
