The india pale ale is our strongest house ale brewed with copious amounts of American hops to highlight their resinous, piney, citrusy flavors and aromas. Nuff said.

02.18.05 Clouded orange-amber with fleeting but large head, plenty of lacing. Nice floral c-hop nose. This stuff is crazy bitter from front to back to after. Not much to be found in this brew as the bitterness is dominant and overwhelming of any other character. Still, I drank two pints.

Dark gold color, medium head. Aroma is malty and a little hop spicy. A medium bodied very hoppy IPA. Hops are floral and spicy. Nice malty background. This is a big hoppy IPA, yet there are a lot of malt flavors to balance them. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

I had a sample of this at the bewery. Copper color with a little lacing. Nice spicy hop aroma and flavor. Medium body. Another great, hoppy IPA from California, but nothing stands out in this one.
